About Me and My Practice

Cristina_edited.jpg

I'm a counsellor, coach and workplace wellbeing practitioner with over 15 years' experience supporting adults through trauma, chronic stress, burnout, life transitions and neurodivergent experiences.

My work has taken me across clinical, organisational and community settings, giving me the opportunity to support people facing a wide range of personal and professional challenges. Alongside private practice, I continue to work with organisations, combining therapeutic expertise with an understanding of the realities of modern working life.

Whether you're seeking therapy, coaching or workplace support, my aim is to provide a space where you feel heard, understood and able to explore what matters most to you.

Referrals are welcomed from organisations, occupational health providers, wellbeing services and private health insurers.

What Has Shaped My Work

I've always been interested in understanding what shapes us—how our experiences, relationships and environments influence the way we think, feel and respond. That curiosity led me into counselling and continues to guide my work today.

Over the years I've worked with people from many different backgrounds and at different stages of life. Those experiences have reinforced my belief that there is no single path to wellbeing, and that meaningful change begins with understanding each person's unique story rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.

How I Work

I don't believe therapy is about having all the answers. I believe it's about creating the time and space to understand yourself more clearly, make sense of what's happened and discover new ways of moving forward.

Because every person's experiences are different, I don't work from a fixed formula. Therapy is collaborative and shaped around your goals, your circumstances and what feels manageable for you. My work integrates a range of evidence-informed approaches, including EMDR where appropriate, always adapting the process to the individual rather than expecting the individual to adapt to the therapy.

Experience & Qualifications

Over the past 13 years, I have offered my services to adults across private practice, workplace wellbeing and community-based services. Working with a diverse range of clients and presentations has deepened my understanding of how trauma, stress, relationships, identity and life experiences can affect wellbeing, and informs the way I work today.

Beyond the Therapy Room

Outside work, I enjoy spending time in nature, travelling, learning and spending time with animals. I'm fascinated by different cultures and by the many ways people's experiences, values and environments shape how they see the world.
